Spring is in the air in GA........

I just can`t believe this warm weather we are having.........it was 84 degrees today here in Rincon, GA.........the grass is starting to turn green already and we have not even had St. Patricks Day yet!....................No complaints on the heating bills though!

A New Friend......

I had such fun yesterday..............I finally got chance to go on a little junking/antiquing trip...........a store about 45 mins from my house...........It`s one of those stores where there is TONS of stuff, piled high on top of each other, high and low, you need extra long arms when you go there!......................Anyhow, while on my expedition I made a new friend, I love her dearly already..................Her name is Minnie Pearl, and I would like to introduce you to her...................................................................................

She didn`t mind at all when I dressed her up a little.............I love her rhinestone belt.............Must change the color of the tulle on her hat though!

She looks good for her age don`t you think...........she`s is around 100 years old and barely a wrinkle in sight!

I think Minnie Pearl and I will be friends for a very long time!

A Gift From My Son

My son, Caleb, who is 10, gave the most wonderful gift this afternoon................He came home from our neighbors house and instructed me that I had to follow him outside with my eyes closed.....he made sure of this by holding his little hands tightly over my eyes!...............He led me to the front porch, turned me to face the house and told me to open my eyes..................And there it was, hanging on a nail I use for my Christmas wreath, a large grapevine wreath he had completely made by himself and decorated with pretty pink camellias.................I LOVE IT!............................Do you think he takes after his mom?

Playing Catch Up

If any of you are wondering where my Ebay store has gone.............don`t worry, it`s just closed for a few days............I`m behind with orders right now due to the influx I`ve had since New Years. The only way I can see to catch up is to close for a few days, sorry. .......My house is suffering!
